Our attempt at a family shot

We were sitting outside the other day and this is our attempt to take a family shot since we have no pictures of the three of us which is horrible. We used our iPhone but soon we are going to have our wonderful friend, Leah, take some pictures of us. She takes beautiful shots!

Tallulah's food menu

I thought you might like to know what Tallulah is eating these days. Of course, I am still breastfeeding her, my goal is two years so that is her primary nutrition. However, here are some of her favorites.

Red Pears
Tofu
Carrots
Sweet Potatoes
Butternut Squash
Yellow Squash
Banana mashed and in little chunks
Organic Puffs
Green Beans
Stonyfield Plain Yogurt
Kiwi
Wholegrain oatmeal cereal

She is getting ready to start a little pasta and soon some Kale and Beets but not until 10 months. I cannot wait for summer fruits so she can try nectarines (mamma's favorite), peaches and berries.

I love making all her food, it is all so yummy!

Where did the vomit go?

The other morning, after Tallulah ate her breakfast, she got the hiccups. As she was sitting in her highchair, she had a big hiccup and a little vomit came out. It looked like a big clear blob. We looked on her pajamas and all over the highchair and could not find it anywhere. We figured it looked worse then what it was and the tiny amount that was on her pjs must have been it.

Around 12:30, I get a text from Aaron, just as I was about to start a meeting and it said "I found the vomit" and there was this picture. It made me laugh so hard. Poor little Tallulah.

What sound does the puppy make?

Tallulah has been working on this for the last week or two but she has become a natural making a sound like a puppy, "woof, woof".

She has a couple books that have puppies in it and thanks to the fact that we read to her every day and the help of her Auntie and us, Tallulah can tell you what sound a puppy makes.

When we go out for walks, if she sees a puppy, you can hear her call out "woof, woof". We do not think this counts exactly as first words but it is a start!

She is also getting good at the sounds of a kitty and a cow and sheep.

These are thanks to her favorite books which is beautiful set our friend Niki gave us called "Papa Kisses, Papa Cuddles, Mama Loves and Mama Hugs" and Tallulah's nighttime favorite book "Moo, Baa, La La La".

Stay tuned for more to come.....

We are back in business!

We are bringing "Build a Bravo" back! We send so many pictures and video updates that we thought it would be smart to bring back our blog (with the advice of our good friend Peter). That way, you always have a place to go to find out what is going on with our little Tallulah.

She is 8 1/2 months old and she is so busy, crawling, pulling herself up on to things, moving back and forth and talking up a storm.

Here is her in action. She loves music and she loves to boogie.
